Yeah, so I’m Maeve. I’m 34 years old, and in truth, I’m still trying to figure out exactly who I am so it’s hard to know what to put in a section like this. I’m a wife, and a mom. I’ve held many jobs but have never been a career person. I’m an amateur photographer. I like to read, and play games, especially things leaning towards fantasy. (Dungeons and Dragons, Chronicles of Narnia, Dragonlance, etc.)
My favorite author, Charles deLint, sometimes uses a phrase with his characters about being comfortable in their own skin. THAT is where I’d like to be. And someday, I’ll get there. But it’s a journey, and a rough one. Care to wander for a ways with me? We’ll share some laughs, tears, maybe some tea or hot chocolate.
Most of what you see here will be surface things. I like to talk about my kids, the shows I watch, maybe the books I read. Once in a while there will be a deeper glimpse. I don’t promise fascinating and brilliant posts. Just me, going about my days. But I always love some company.

Maeve, I was here checking out your blog…You have no idea what a great Mom you are already…What is this jibberish about all the yelling??!??!
I’ve never heard you yell and I’ve known you now for 4 freakin’ years.
I have learned key phrases from you like “I have a mission for you..” and others in lieu of just telling and yelling. You are great the way you are so don’t let anyone tell you different…Both you AND your skin are fine! love, Beth M.
